It Ain't Wrapping Paper...

Sorry for the late notice, but.... If you head over to the site, you'll find a 12-day advent calendar, with new models posted every night between 11PM and midnight (PST) from now until the Big  Day! The interface is a bit clunky (I built it last minute), so for some of you it may be a slow load, but be patient, and it should all work out fine. Please let me know how you like the models, and if you have any "issues" with the interface. Cheers!

"He's Dead, Jim."

Just what every away team needs, a redshirt to take one for the team. Thank you Lt. Johnson! Get your own paper phaser fodder HERE.

Enjoy!

btw: Some minor fixes have been made to Chekov and Sulu and are ready to download. (Thanks, N.R.)

Ooooooo! Scary!

It's Halloween, my favorite holiday, so to wish all friends and followers a joyous holiday season, I'm re-releasing the Universal Monsters I did in 2009. I've also added a new model to the set - The Phantom of the Opera! The model is patterned after Lon Chaney's classic performance, and includes removable mask and cape and much more!

Download him HERE.   ENJOY!

"Enemy Wessels Approachink, Keptin!"

You knew it was going to be a great episode if Chekov was at the helm, if only to hear Walter Koenig's crispy Cyrillic commentary, accompanied by his eyebrow wagging gesticulations. Obviously cast as a sort of "Cosmonaut Davey Jones," to attract the teeny-bopper viewers, Koenig managed to turn what was originally a rather thinly-written character into a genuine sci-fi icon.

This week the ever-eager Ensign is on the bridge. Beam him up HERE.

Enjoy!

"Target in Range, Captain."

Every drive a muscle car? Ever imagine that muscle car was actually a massive, heavily-armed, galaxy-hopping interplanetary starship? You could cut some SERIOUS doughnuts with that sucker, brother!

Well, there was one guy in the Star Trek universe who got to get up and go to work doing just that! Lucky dog!

The indefatigable Helmsman Hikaro Sulu beams aboard this week. Download him HERE Enjoy!

"Hailing Frequencies Open, Captain."

Now stationed on the bridge, that comely communications officer, Lt. Nyota Uhura, as played by the inimitable Nichelle Nichols. She comes complete with digital clipboard and the trademark golden earplug!

Download her HERE.

Also, the Spock, Bones, and Scotty models have been updated to correct a color problem with their insignias. You will want to download them again for accuracy. Thanks to follower Nicholas for pointing out my goof. Enjoy!

"All right, you lovelies, hold together!"

Was this guy the coolest mechanic ever?! Smooth talking, hard-drinking, and he always delivered on time! Be the first kid on your block to get this keen paper action figure version, complete with sonic wrench accessory!

You'll find it HERE.  Enjoy!

"Diplomats! The best diplomat I know is a fully activated phaser bank."

"I'm a doctor, not ...."

"....an action figure! No, wait..."

Among the greatest of sci-fi sidekicks, that irascible and intrepid interplanetary backwoods country physic - Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, legendary for his sarcastic one-liners and last-minute miracle cures, is now ready to join your paper model collection

Download him HERE....and ENJOY!

Bet on Black!

In keeping with this month's color theme, I've posted two more heroes of the Golden Age - the card-sharp crime-buster Black Jack, and the high-flying freedom fighter Blackhawk (pictured at left.) These are a pair of my favorite characters, although they do languish in obscurity these days. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do. You can download them both HERE. Enjoy!

Keep your eyes open, as there are lots of fun things coming soon!

The Black Terror Strikes!

This month's first (yes, there will be more) download is a "terrific" diorama designed by our master designer J.P. Cote. This action-packed little number is based on the classic Alex Schomberg cover art for Nedor's Exciting Comics #45 (April 1946), featuring the Terror Twins locked in combat against anonymous villains, which I have dubbed the Robot Master and The Robot (real creative, I know). The pictures of J.P.'s build do not include Kid Terror, as he is not a favorite character of Mr. Cote's and was left out of the original design. To keep the purists happy, I have included the option to put Tim into the picture if so desired. You can download the diorama and figures HERE..

A Marvelous Pair

We've got LOTS of stuff cooking right now, with some big plans for major releases in the next couple of month; so things have been a bit slow on both the blog and the site itself. To keep things moving, albeit a little later than planned, is the new download for July.

First up, from Timely Comics, it's The Challenger - The Master of all Weapons. He comes with three costume variants and a slew of deadly accessories. Next, to make up for the wait, and answer numerous requests, it's another Timely treat turned Marvel icon - Toro! Add this model of the Human Torch's sidekick, and your First Invaders and All-Winners Comics sets are now complete! He's a bit of a cheat, being just a modified/rescaled Torch, but he'll do the trick.

Download the daring duo HERE and ...keep in touch!

Where Have We Been?

Hello friends! Looking at the previous post, it's been nearly 6 months since I've spent any time on the website or blog. Yikes! I appreciate the patience of my followers as I navigated the twists and turns of my other life. I do plan to spend more time here in the near future.( I have all sorts of content that needs to be tidied up before it lands here.)

To kick off what I hope will be a far more prolific second half of the year, I offer a new model - THOR. He's in the Silver Age costume, complete with trusty Mjolnir in hand. I've also unlocked all the other models, and re-released several of the Bat-Villains. Get them all HERE.

Happy! Happy!

G.A.S.P. is kicking off the new year with a couple of new character models. First, there's Timely Comics' answer to the Flash - The Whizzer! (That name may have worked in the 40's, but it takes on much different, and hilarious connotations today!). Then there's one of my favorite DC lesser-knowns, Jack Kirby's Manhunter (at left). There's also a couple of pulp hero holdovers from the Holiday prezzies - Green Hornet & Kato and Dick Tracy! The Arkham Asylum and 40's Batmobile will return in the next several months in improved, non-beta form (there will even be an interior for the Batmobile!), so keep your eyes open! Hope you and yours have a joyous and prosperous New Year! And I hope you'll keep letting G.A.S.P. be a part of it! Cheers!
